Deep recessed quarter glasses

For fixed quarter glasses that have a lot of trim around them, such as the Audi A4 - I tried this new method today.

I wet my film and replaced the liner , wiped the liner so it was dry and the attached some masking tape to the bottom part of the liner, the longer length of tape was the folded over on itself so it was not sticky - this acts like a little tag then that you can pull.

You can take the film to the glass, get it almost in position and then pull the liner from top to bottom whilst offering the film to the glass using the length of tape. It worked Ok.

For the legends around here who can place film perfectly without touching anything it will be a waste of time, but for those with the shakes - should help you out.

I use that new olfa saw and hope the customer didnt see the rubber trim around the window

i did one of those today. it is a pain to get my little fat hand in there. i put in like you would put a pizza a oven. i wet the window and the film so it will slide easier.
