what do u do

i did an A6 wagon and got to the last window. the window was covered in weld marks. the customer was cool but it looked like i threw a hand full of dirt under the tint. i told him to go back to the repair shop that fixed the car and get a new window. it looked like s**t.....

I had a Ford Probe years ago with weld overspray on the rear glass. Brand new car so Ford paid us to replace the window and for the new tint. We cleaned the glass, but did not see or feel the weld splatter until the film was installed. I had someone working for me at the time and shouted at them for not cleaning the glass. I didn't apologize though, told them they will screw up again soon, and they did.

oh man..................its funny you bring this up...

I have a car Ive been builing up the past two years and just last week I was welding in filler panels on the deck lid. I forgot to put the damn blanket over the back glass and got a few marks on there..........TOTAL bummer. It sucks to cuz this car is a rolling business card, and now its gonna look like hella contamination. :(

i tell the customer what is on the window..and they have two choices..replace it...or i can tint it..and it will look like azz...it is up to them to decide..

I caught one before the film went on
that had a grinder run beside it in the body shop
it had slag slung all in it

the dude just bought the truck too
