I am having this car tinted this weekend with either 45 or 50%. Is there anything I should tell the tinter or anything I need to know? How easy was this car to tint for those of you who have tinted before?
Thanks
TOM

Thanks TOM [*]397495[/*] I just finished tinting a silver 300 in 35% all around, not a hard car to tint, make sure the tinter takes out the rear parcel shelf and get the tint behind the brakelight, looks crap if they cut around the 3rd brake light.
auto could you post a picture of that car on here? That is the color I will be picking up tomorrow?
Thanks TOM
Ther are threads on this is you look under make and model ..complete descriptions I believe
sorry no camera today, heres an old not very good pic
We have to cut out around the brake lights in DE. I cut the light out first then mark the cut out on the outside of the glass, remove the brake light, install film, reinstall brake light.
Where are you at in Wisconsin?
Theres a few tinters on the board from there

With a lighter film like this the cut out would look fine. I do remove some decks to tint, but if I don't have to then I don't. If the deck is not up against the glass then it is time that I could be tinting another vehicle and making money. Cut out brake lights can look bad, but they can also look good......and it should be illegal to cover over the "oh so important" brake light.... And you can still see it through tint since its so close to the glass. I'm not a fan of cutting around the brake light.
