QUOTE (tintdude @ May 30 2006, 02:59 AM) Also looks like a POS [*]401385[/*] a friend of mine bought one. haven't tinted it yet. doesn't look bad. the gaskets do have felt. i drove it, it was fun, although i felt like i was sitting in a minivan (seating height) and MUCH bigger inside than you would think.
I tinted one recently. I will get into the details if you want them.

was there anything else like gas shocks for the rear glass? Or buttons?
QUOTE (MidcoastMW @ Jul 25 2006, 04:38 PM) [*]416335[/*] was there anything else like gas shocks for the rear glass? Or buttons? there is no removal of anything off the back glass. all the windows are a piece of cake. ive tinted about 4-6 of them already and have had no issues. and for the record, mugen and spoon; big aftermarket manufacturers of parts in japan for hondas both have stuffed a K20 from the rsx-r in the fit. 220+ hp in the lil car that the fit is would be very much a sleeper. Even in stock form they drive very nice and handle well for how tall they are.
easy car...they are called a Honda Jazz on this side of the water.
not sure if there available here yet, haven't seen any on the road
Super easy car, the rear qt. windows have a seatbelt to work around but its do-able
one of our shops is a stall at the honda dealer...simple car, i take off the third brakelight only because it takes a few seconds and these things are right off the truck going into the showroom so it has to be top quality. like mentioned the seatbelts in the way of the rear permanent but havnt had a problem with it
nice car to tint - my wife ownes one ;)
Seatbelt comes off of the roof with a 14mm socket.
Cake.
did one of these slow turtles today. straight forward.
im not sure what engine yours had but the detailers raced a pair of them down to get gas and they are daaaamn quick they said. dont bother with the seat belt removal, theres plenty of room. did 2 yesturday, only thing i do is remove the 3brakelight...dont really need to but it takes maybe 3 sec w/ 10mm socket

yeah it has those little shift paddles...those are fuuuun
still havnt seen any up here
The tinter I took mine too said it is a hard car to do because the small kick windows and rear windows were hard to get to. They were actually going to raise the price on the next Fit after mine because of the difficulty.
QUOTE (03SXTgansta @ Mar 15 2007, 10:41 PM) [*]489881[/*] what does being 6'6 have anything to do with getting behind the seat belts on the back. they are a PITA to get the film behind and card out...but not that big of deal to raise the price on them. oh sheit..you edited before i could reply to it..
i was momentarily confused
ever used one of these ![]() or even

I find it fascinating that the consensus in this thread is that the Fit is a piece of cake to do, yet on this other thread they're saying it's a PITA! Interesting how the views among professionals can be so opposite for same car!

Easy car to tint no worries.
I've seen lots of mention of the seat belt and brake light, but nothing about removing or not the door panels or holding back the flaps. I am looking to see if I will tackle this or not. I am not a novice with vehicles, but never tinted before. I have downloaded all of the instructions and do have the tools.
