I drive a hatchback, and was thinking of having ceramic 30 in rear and back passenger windows, with a lighter one in the front (like ceramic 50), hoping that it won't p1ss off
The price difference for ACHT and ceramic is about 25%.

Full Version: Huper Optik ceramic and select series ACHT
Found a tint place (with nice reviews online) in NY that carries Huper Optik ceramic and the select series ACHT. The ACHT seems to read legal in NY. Does anyone else have the ACHT film?. I think this one is close to the ceramic 50, except the ACHT light transmission is 77%. Does this mean it is almost clear?. and that the darkish cool look on tint is not there for this film?

We don't encourage illegal window tinting around here, it gives the industry a black eye. ACHT is 78% VLT and you have to factor in your glass as well. If it is still legal after that, then you are good to go. ACHT has about a 45% TSER, not bad for nearly clear.
ok, then what about the shading factor of a nearly clear film or glare control? would it be less than the ceramic 50.?

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
