anybody done a 97 Jetta?

Has anyone here done a 97 Jetta for a tint i got one next week and have never done a VW before. This car has dot matrix on the side roll down windows and do you have to take the door panels off or can you just pull the door gaskets out to tuck the tint.

side windows don't have matrix. top of panels will pop back enough to pull the gaskets.

maybe i'm thinking of another car but i thought the sides did have matrix,i dont know today was busy as heck! i cant remember.

You shouldn't have any problems with it. These cars are fairly easy. I slide the film behind the seal on the doors. On the rear quarter I trim a little rubber out and run my push stick rapped with a paper towel around the edge before I tint the glass.

just tape the felt lined rubbers up, youll be fine
