Paint protection film supplier needed

Hi. I run a shop on the UK just doing window tinting at the moment. I attended a demo day at our film supplier's in the UK where they were demonstrating paint protection film.

We want to get into this area of the industry but want to test the water first before shelling out £10K+ on the computer cut machinery.

Are there any companies out there in the UK or the States that would be able to supply the paint protection film to us for specific cars. Obviously its all pre cut on the machines. We need a supplier where we can ring in an order of any number of cars we have booked in, and then you can send us the pre cut film for those cars.

I nearly went into this line of business with these guys www.paintshield.co.uk but went into vehicle wrapping instead.

My advise is save your money as i went on the paintshield and armourfend courses and in my own opinion there isn't a market for this i paid about £1000 for the pantshield one and about 5k for the armourfend one and the 2 of them have there ups and downs but my advise is stay away and keep your money

So you wouldnt advise getting into the industry at all?

We put the word out locally that we might be getting into paint protection and response was OK. Few dealers wanted their demo cars doing to help the resale value of them.

If you can find someone that can supply the pre cut kits then surely there are no costs other than getting the film in, which you only do when you have a car booked in????
