how do you get the rear brakelight out of the deck?

Pontiac G6 dunno.gif what year hmmmmmmm.gif I just did one Saturday and there was no brake light in the rear deck!

ohh sorry ahh didnt remove it I used a bulldozer. Sorry I'm no help

unless you want to pull the rear seat and side pannels you can't. it is melted to the rear deck from underneath. use a bulldozer or what ever else you have to reach the bottom. i use 2 red devils. or cut out around it.
this is on a G6 coupe btw. center light on the sedan is in the trunk lid. i don't know why they didn't do the same on both wall.gif

Oh and yeah cut around it, pull frickin everything or try find something to shove behind it biggthumpup.gif

the car is done and the customer is very happy. he didn't want his car taken apart. i won't lie i didn't want to either.

yea pull everything out. that shiat third brake light is melted in there, so a rookie would try to yank that out and be in trouble after coffee.gif

I would have to agree, if your going to the trouble of doing the tint job why not just do it all the way...be proud of your work and that you took the time to do it right instead of just ignoring the problem and cutting around it ;)...

I didnt see any comment about having to shrink any side glass?? dunno.gif well do ya

G6 is lines at the top....pull all the door seals. One of the easiest if not the easiest 4 door cars to tint beer.gif

If you look, I have a thread with G6 door panel removal tips and pix (pull seals). This is a car you can so clean any tinter will have a HARD time finding a flaw.... evilgrin.gif
