Full Version: A big house doesnt always mean big money...
Recently did a 4200 sf house. Guy asked if I would take an out of state check since he just moved here from Florida. I thought hmm
Most are like everyone else the more you make the more you spend
He might have a trophy at the mall spending it all
Usually those are the ones that don't have any money theyare just living beyond there means
it took you ten years in the business to see this
thats why I drive my 92 minivan I want them to think I dont have chiatt (willie @ Sep 14 2006, 10:05 PM) [*]431627[/*] it took you ten years in the business to see this thats why I drive my 92 minivan I want them to think I dont have chiatt Actually yes this is the first time someone has actually bounced a check for $$$thousand dollars with me. The two bounced checks we have recieved lately..both had paper tags on new high end cars
I had a guy in a brand new e55 MB ($90,000) stiff me for twenty bucks

So far the only check I've had bounce was by the guy who's car was worth the 2nd most that I've gotten my hands on.
But he emailed me to let me know it was going to bounce. I guess his bank held a big deposit of his for a few days or something. I wish I had a 92 minivan. I pull up to million dollar on the lake nieghborhoods in this:
I worked at a tint shop once where the owner tried to cheat me out of $10, I kicked him in the knee and took $20 from him.

better than making customers feel like I never get work
