07 lexus is 350

We tinted a lexus is last week and the girl calls back and says her bluetooth doesnt work now. Has this happened to anyone else?

Done a few and never had a complaint

operating anything with bluetooth is all done on the interior right? how could film effect it?

thats what i thought...bluetooth is all done in the interior i dont see how film would affect that

apparently there is a modular under the rear deck lid, so beware everyone, this could get exspensive. I will know later this week when I take it to my stereo exspert.

Problem is between steering wheel and driver seat !!

Water must of reached the modular and shorted it out?

If its linked to her phone tell her to pay the bill.

they probably figured with the amount of geniuses out there tinting windshields that it'd be safer in the back rather than under the dash.

it is there because of less interferance from other electrical components like the car computer and what not that is stuffed under and around the dash.
if you drenched the back window you may have shorted it out, I had a pricy one T.G. for insurance had an installer drench the doors on a newer mercedes, strip and tint and all of a sudden the mirrors folded up and the seats shot forward and nothing would work, comp mods in doors
I am not the smartest person, but that is some stupid europen engineering

update I call her last week and she say's everything is fine now We dodged that bullet.
