have one to do tonight, is there anything to be aware of? i haven't done one yet and i couldn't find anything about the 4 door G6's, just the 2 door version. thanks in advance
Did one yesterday. Easy 1 peice bg (don't instinctively cut around the defrost tabs on the outside ..you'll see why when you get the car) . Panels pull back for easy removal of gasket both bottom and side gasket for easy removal after 1 torx in each handle on panel is removed.
easiest 4 door car to tint on the market today
back seat release is in the trunk (makes it easier to get the headrest out) do about 10 to 12 of these a month and wish they were all this easy got one sitting here right now if you have any more specifics that I just got done with
Gravy train with biscuit wheels!

I did an 05 and an 06 yesterday and they are very easy. I didn't pull the bottom gasket out like TW suggested but I did pull the side gaskets out of the front and rear doors.
Definitely pull the panels... I didn't but I will next time! BG is sweet.
QUOTE (FilmBlazer @ Jul 24 2007, 07:10 AM) [*]526794[/*] Definitely pull the panels I did another one just yesterday making a total of over 10 of these cars since I first commented on them and would still say the gaskets and side gaskets easily remove without panel removal..I'm one who doesn't think twice about removal if necessary and it just doesn't seem to be on these cars..all the benefits of removal when gaskets are pulled without removal of panel To each his/her own QUOTE (TintWizard @ Jul 24 2007, 07:53 AM) [*]526823[/*] I did another one just yesterday making a total of over 10 of these cars since I first commented on them and would still say the gaskets and side gaskets easily remove without panel removal..I'm one who doesn't think twice about removal if necessary and it just doesn't seem to be on these cars..all the benefits of removal when gaskets are pulled without removal of panel To each his/her own I still beleive this is the easiest 4 door car on the market today to do. I can even do this one in a little over an hour and Im slow QUOTE (tintman237 @ Jul 24 2007, 08:00 AM) [*]526829[/*] your right, dont see any nissans in Podunk
The torx cap breaks real easy. some are broke already before we get to them. I just stick them back on with that black sealant.
Torx cap ??? There is one in our bay right now and nothing was pulled from it
QUOTE (TTS @ Mar 27 2008, 02:54 PM) [*]608923[/*] Torx cap ??? There is one in our bay right now and nothing was pulled from it G6 door panels have a plastic cap covering a t30 screw right by the inside door handle. It is flimsy as hell if you need to pull the panel. I'm not a tucker, so i pretty well drop the whole panel. except for the wiring clip
