I recently became interested in doing the shade thang as an option to tint and I sent an application in to Halcyon Shades. I noticed it said that any new dealer is required to attend a training seminar. Has anyone attended this? If so what did they go over, how long, and where were you required to go? Thanks
whats the FEE for the REQUIRED TRAINING ?

Thanks Someone new to the window treatment industry may be required to attend, I tried to contact them for you and all are out for the holidays. I do know the seminar is held at CPFilms' Martinsville plant and lasts about a full day. I do not believe there is any cost to attend... email: bob.jolly@cpfilms.com or barbara.prillaman@cpfilms.com
I bet they are working today. Nobody ever answers the phone over there, you will always get the machine.

Apparently they need to send me out a dealer packet after they approve my application. They said you arent required to attend (opposite of the website info) but is reccomended. I am sure hanging them is pretty straight forward. I would like to go just to get a little hands on and additional info before I go try selling and installing them. Kinda someting I wished I would of done before i dove into the flatglass thing. One of those If I only knew then what i know now deals...lol
It's not that hard, there are just some nuances that need to be learned so that you do not make any mistakes because mistakes made in ordering window coverings will cost you a lot more money than tearing off a piece of film.
