Were wanting custom embroidery done and figure you guys and gals have probably found good shops to do this. This is where we get ours No minimum order and they do great work! Plus the price is extremely fair considering there are no one-time “set-up” charges either. Its a "digital" print (flat ink) vs. the old school raised silk screen and no more worrying about 4 color process...give'um a try http://www.t-shirts.com/
He's wanting custom embroidary-they dont do that-use someone local to you!
Thanks, we have been looking at a place in town, but they are new and very limited at what they can do so far. We are still looking at places close to us, but just wanted to see if you guys have someone that does a good job in a timely manner.
Just buy a $100 Embroidery machine at Wal-Mart, find a Vid or 2 here on the Internet, and DIY ! Save lots of money !
Seriously, if it is a large order, take a junk shirt to them, have them do it and see how it comes out. They have a setup fee, a minimum and colors cost extra, the prices for the shirts alone is crazy. I went downtown to Daffy Dans and spent $100 with the setup fee for 5 silk screened shirts, the will have a site you can order from soon. Yeah the one time set-up fee of $89 for embroidery is a little steep, but its only a one time fee. The shirts are pretty high quality though. At leats u can go there and get an idea of the different shirt fabric "feel". I am sure there are cheaper places. The only bad part of ordering online is not getting to feel the shirt material. It might be just me but I like to know I am not getting a real stiff fabric that I will have to work in.
I used to work for the place we had make us shirts. The advantage to having another shop do it is simple. Their employees WILL ask for a quote on getting some work done. I made way more off of the tint than the cost of the shirts.
I do screen printing and heat press but not embroidery if interested. I also do signs banner and wraps. Just an idea.
