Giving out Business Cards

Hoping this might make TOTW !
When you go out anywhere, stick a few Business Cards between the gasket and window on the outside.
The Public being the curious folks they are, will see something sticking from your window, and BOOM ! they now have your card instead of writing down your # on a piece of scrap paper.
If in your personal car, they will walk up and they now see a sample of your work, AND they have your card !
One way of passing your info to folks who might not of had it previously.

It's considered impolite to walk up to someone's car and eyeball F the crap out of it and take things off of it IMO.


I would never walk up to someones car and inspect what is on their windshield and then REMOVE IT.


Try vinyl all over your vehicle. Works great for me.

Or graphics in the back window thats always awesome and you get to show off ur free hand work... people always gett amazed at that stuff. I was showing one of my customers how i cut the film on the car and off and he was amazed that i could cut a straight line and not scratch the car. glass. he was like wow.....

I leave a card at the gas pumps and drive thru talk box's... lol..

yea just get the vehicle wraped with your business name where i tint i dont think people will be walking up to cars and taking things off because of fear of being labled a thief

I made it a habit to hand out a minimum of five cards a day, to everyone I talked to. I buit my shop on word of mouth

i see that idea in parking lots all the time.

its called desperate advertising and you most likely get a call at least from one potential customer.

I have a conniption everytime I come back to my car only to find a stupid fukin flyer on it.

The tip is to put cards on YOUR VEHICLE which should already have vinyl or a wrap on it by the way. This way if an interested party can use your services they take a card with your numbers on it. They don't have to look for a pen or camera to get that number.
I always keep cards on hand because at a traffic light and sometimes even in the stop and go I get people shouting " Hey you got a card? I have a job for ya"

They make these magnet business card holder things now too.

Stick'em on the side of your car and they have a sign attached that says, "Take a Card."

ALso, don't forget, EVERY HAND YOU SHAKE, PUT A CARD IN IT!!!!

Love the gas pump idea... Their building a huge apartment complex and shopping center about half mile down the road from my shop... Can't wait to go around dropping cards everywhere there.... but.. another good idea is theirs a tire and audio store and the manager allows me to leave fliers around his shop in return i leave couple of fliers on my cashier counter...
