Anybody got any tricks for the dot matrix on bg?? Have one here right now...done except for that. I've tried every trick up my sleeve but cant get the tint to stick at all! You guys using vinyl here or what? ive tried sanding...glue....adhesive promotor....prayer...swearing...

what i usually do is sand it down with ultra fine steel wool and the clearish blue elmars glue does the trick every time. i have done it on that particualr car a few times for sure and it always worked. i've been doin the glue for about 5 years now and never had a come back yet. stay away from any other method.

yeah, tried that. didnt work. not sure why....usually does. This is the first model year it didnt. now the car is gone...i used the vinyl

I vinyl them.

at first we started having them come back but now we cut the tint about 3/4" larger on the dotted section, dont worry theres plenty of room. then heat the sides just below the dots to ensure that no air from the border can get into the matrix. this usually works well
