sand the dots
do not let sand paper go farther than the dots or you'll scratch the glass wipe the dots after sanding till there dry install tint as normal if your a tinter you'll know what I mean if not then this information just got you alittle farther in the process.
hmmm well i thought this site was here to help u and everybody is saying take it to someone but i want to know how to do i it....how will i learn if i let someone else do it....so again my question wasnt who can i take it too...it was how do i do the back window? and plus i can get cajuntinter to email me back on anything so!
bg is a breeze........real similiar to the doors, cept the glass doesnt move up and down during your install..........
do you know how to shrink the tint yet? if not research a little here about shrinking on this site. they have details on all methods.
also the 2dr accord rear windows arent that easy even for a seasoned tinter depending on brand and quality of film you use, so dont get too frustrated. do some research and hopefully you have film to practice with. hit me up for any other help. good luck
If it is your first Back glass install, You better be reeeeeeaaally patient. Or else you could do it like they do in Cancun, cut it into eight strips and lay that shiz on there.
lol yeah its my first bg.....i am just worried that the tint not sticking to the dot matrix....and no i really dont know how to shrink yet...but i will do some research...thanks guys....ya'll been alot of help.....

sand the dots with 1200 wet/dry, wet.
Here's a lil tip for the dots its not going to loook good if you dont do anything to it so, and it first. but take tape and put it 4inch deep for u i do 2in just incase u slipp. put the tape along the buttom of the past dot. Then sand and clean very welll. And install tint if u get it shrunk without creases. and if u dont like the out come of the dots after sanding pull down to the bottom of the dots and put glue on it will be fine. ELmers blue glue dries clear. And use the mdog shizz for shrinkin..,..
what is the mdog shizz shrinking?
QUOTE (mrflip09 @ Jan 18 2007, 08:25 PM) [*]467636[/*] what is the mdog shizz shrinking? Look at the bottom of one of MDogs posteses and there should be a link with the instkuctions... It works very well once you get the hang of it...
yeah i been reading it...how do u put the tint from the outside to the inside
Use The Force Luke, you must concentrate.
lol funnny for real....what is the best method
Use 0000 or 000 steelwool for sanding the dots and you won't have to worry about scratching the glass. Make sure after you give it a good scrubbing that you wipe them until there is no more black
If this doesn't work glue it
ok what is the best method of getting the tint from the outside to the inside of the car
you can transfer the tint to a loarger piece of glass. then peel the liner half way and spray water and soap in the tint. then place the liner back on the tint. repeat on the other side and roll it up from left to right. then you clean the inside of your rear glass and spray. then you unroll the tint onto the window. make sure that when you start the roll you grab the claer section and roll that onto the back side of the film. so the glue side of the tint faces the glass.
if you dont have a big enough piece of glass to put it on. you can peel the liner and spray it on the back window itself.
thanks man big help....now my only problem is gettting this shrinking to work...lol...its kicking my ass
sorry i posted this after i saw your other post.
practice, practice, practice and try the different methods. you should master wet first , then dry so you know about shrinking direction. but some have been known to go straight to dry.
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
