Can you'll guys relax.
We don't charge $35 to do the whole car. That's just for a set of rollups. Using our standard film. You guys have issues if you'll can't respect others prices. Its a business for me and if I can save my customer $1 for using the same or better film and doing the same or better job than I will do that. It makes no business sense trying to be Walmart in a service business
Thanx for looking out Willie but my prices have work well for me.
There's reasons why we have low prices. Here in San Antonio - ppl don't pay full price for anything - on my side of town, there's tinters who charge $10 a window.... now that's LOWBALL - anyone can drive 2 hrs south to Laredo and get a 4 dr car done for $25 - $30 ... - why risk getting a set a rollups done in 1 day and charging $60 when we can charge $35 and do 7 to 8 on Saturdays... I appreciate everyone thoughts but you'll don't live where I do and don't understand the way of living here. Am done explaining myself on this topic so you'll can stop trying to bring me down. I do dealership work and provide great films. I started this topic so prospects can reply, not for any other reasons.
If you say so
I charge top dollar every time I am there (CWT210 @ Feb 15 2007, 10:12 PM) [*]479188[/*] Thanx for looking out Willie but my prices have work well for me. There's reasons why we have low prices. If you dont find another job holler Ive got some buds at the Mutha's shops around there, and they command the high prices based on there reputation (CWT210 @ Feb 15 2007, 06:59 PM) [*]479119[/*] Can you'll guys relax. Dude, you are saving PENNIES by using an inferior film, yet its the SAME LABOR to install it! Try basing your prices on what your work is worth, not so much material costs. But then.... maybe you already know that and are Nobody here really has issues with pricing until it starts to impact them. WHO do you think is gonna be left to clean up the mess you leave behind? And you WILL leave one behind. You won't last. You won't keep a real tinter, just a few newbies looking to hone thier skills at your expense and then move on. WOW My post is still here... lmao! Well 2 YRS later and am still in business... every yr the numbers just keep going up... now that I have a little more experiece I can see what you guys were trying to tell me... YES, my prices have gone up, double!!! I can see now that not every1 is gifted in this business, and all the hard work and dedication pays off... am doing I piece BG for 95 Saturns, 94 Camaros, new Beetles... u name it ... Hey am gifted... not every shop in SA can do these, they won't even touch em... if there is anything I learned from this thread is, "charge for your wk, ur ability to do a professional clean job and get rewared for it. Charge for what u know and let the lowballers go out of business" I've seen it, every yr... am still mobile but wking out off a good friends Audio/ Security shop. I've been blessed to meet a lot of great ppl from window tinting. My number is still the same and my warranty is 100%. I've tinted over 1500 car/ trucks n my comeback ratio is sumwhere in the 0.001%. I've done commercial and residential jobs too!
