HAS ANYBODY TINTED THE FRONT WINDOWS ON THE NEW LS 460? IF YOU HAVE LET ME KNOW YOUR THOUGHTS

are you talking about a Lexus? I've never heard a LS 460 Acura??

Sorry, I moved this from General to the wrong forum hold on a sec....

It makes it 1000 times easier to tint with the door panels off, its only a couple of screws to remove the panel.

You must take them off, i tried just for the heck of it just to see how it would be and it did not go well, second time around i removed the door panel , very easy to remove..thanks for the tip Tom

this car is a nightmare if you dont remove the panels

just got done with one...take the front panels off..one screw under the door handle..one under the window switch...and one hiden under arm rest..and pop off.

the panels is kinda a PITA to get back on also..there is a dowl that has to go in a small hole just below the upper part of the panel ..its kinda hard to get the dowl in the hole (insert joke here)..once you get the first one in..the other is easy.(insert nother joke here)..

i also had a hard time getting the headrest out also? anyone else?..i just did the backwindow with the headrests in...not to bad to so that way.

I did one about a month ago and the front doors are a biatch

remove the rubber from the door panel by pressing down on the silver clips from under. then put the rubber onto the door then push the panel straight in.

if you want you can just yank em back if youre brave.

If you remove the black weather strip by press down on the four metal clips (easy with the door panel removed) reinstalling the door panel is easy (no breaky plastic pinny)

The Luxury model (larger back doors Motorized headrest) the headrest don't come out kinda sucks but thats life

your saying that the rubbers should be installed on there own then the pannel?

where do you see Acura? LOL

That is what we do.It makes it alot easier to put them back on.The same is done for IS model.
