2007 Honda Civic Sedan - Scratching?

Hey guys,

So I am not a regular member of this board, but I always come by here after I buy a new car to get the lowdown on what I can expect from tinting my car.

The last car I owned was a 2003 Honda Accord Sedan which had the infamous "felt scratching" problem. I ended up just dealing with the scratches on the tint and did not install new felt gaskets or anything.

Which brings me to my question. Does the 2007 Honda Civic have any problems with the tint being scratched as a result of a bad OEM felt gasket? I scoured the board for other Civic threads to see if anyone mentioned this problem and I didn't find anything....so I am assuming everything is kosher. Also, it was great to hear that most everyones experiences tinting this vehicle were positive....meaning it was an easy tint.

I am more than likely going to the same shop I've taken all my vehicles to but if there is anyone here representing the SF Valley or surrounding area, let me know....I might be up to trying a new place.

welcome man....keep on postin' no worries with the 07's scratching...i tint at a honda dealership and havent had a single comeback for that problem

I tinted a 07 2dr yesterday and it had felt, so no worries. the 4dr model has felt also

its all good with the new civics.
