New here, get tips for tricky vehicles all the time, got a question. the new 4 door wrangler have the same hard top as the 2 door? I have had one cut already for a 2 door, just wondering if it will work. I'll be in a hurry and didn't want to disassemble the shocks from the glass to make cuts. thanks

The rear glass? dunno.gif
ssmobiletint

I'm not at my shop or i could tell ya-I'd look on the computer-I've done the 2 door and the fronts on a 4 door-but I'm not sure! hmmmmmmm.gif

Its an appointment for tomorrow and If i'm booked and going to be in a huge hurry, i'll comp cut it. but hate cutting wrong patterns! pisses me off. Hence why I have an extra precut 2 door back glass. Customer told me wrong and It turned out to be a soft top. Thats why i don't like to precut. When its correct, its quick, when its not, its a waste of time.
TINTDESIGNZ
If you have a computer...check the dimensions! hmmmmmmm.gif
ssmobiletint
Thats the problem, for the 4 door, the comp system shows all templates and dimenstions "except" that rear window, which made me beleive that it could be the same. Is there any where else I can look for dimensions since the cut system doesn't show?
TINTDESIGNZ
What system you use?
ssmobiletint
Computer Cut 6.0. Its been okay, It just go updated, so it gave me much more flexibility for bidding and invoicing Commercial and Residential jobs. I never really cut vehicles. I contract for 8 shops here and when the sales people call me, the retards always screw up the year, make, model, series. So I quit cutting unless I know for sure. its way better for flat glass and graphics. unless its a dealership with the same models over and over, ya know?
TINTDESIGNZ
Yeah-i guess that would be a guessing game-I cut them after they are in the bay! beer.gif

Dunno, dunno.gif I thought the appt was for today, but evidently the appt got pushed to tomorrow. i'll just take the template I have and if it fits, I'll let you know, if it doesn't then I'm going to be late to my next three aptmts.
ssmobiletint
FYI, Same rear shell on the four door as the 2 door wrangler. I took the precut template for the 2 door and it was the same. Maybe this will help save some people some time in cutting.

ssmobiletint
It was a hard top with glass

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
