i've been doing this forever and never thought about sharing it. you know when youre shrinking a backglass with struts that need to be removed and there is the hole that sometimes messes up your shrinking; say matrix, escape, older crv. you know one you actually have to shrink. what i do is i take a small scrap tint and stick it over holes so when you shrink over that spot it has surface to actually lay down. so if you need to go over that area again it wont burn a hole in the tint. plus its easier to smooth out over that area.
i dont know how many already do this but it should help a few.
