Which card do you use for shaping film during heat shrinking?

White hard card, black , gold, white cut in triangle...?
I´d like to know which one is better for shaping.

i use a white teflon hard card

I usually use no card or glove to dry shrink,but if I wet check I use a yellow squeegee wrapped in a paper towel

i use a glove when dry shrinking and when wet checking i use a custom towel sleeve i made to insert the yellow bondo card and it wraps around the card.

Its up to you try em all and see what you like. I use a gold teflon.

like mentioned try them all and see what you like I started out with the glove...it lets you really feel the curve of the glass and film, helps avoid creases. Once you get better just use a white teflon card like me this is the perfect place to post my pic, i have a white card i used since i started using that instead of the glove in a picture right next to a brand new one. i'll post it tonight but its curved on the top and bottom now from all the BG i've shrunk

That is what mine usually look like. But now I have a hard card sharpener.

i have a card sharpener but feel like the curve is what i want when shaping BG you know kind of shaped like the window

Thanks to someone's tip on here I cut mine down into a tiny little baby squeegee to do quarter glass on Audis.

Were did you get that from? Was the felt already on there?

I use a black card its harder to crease the film with a softer card.

Gold card or mechanix gloves.

i have some fast fit gloves from mechanix wear that i use.

Dry, I just use my glove wet I use the gold bondo card

I use those ina pinch, they stick sometimes.. I like the brown cloth ones, they seem to work best for me...

I'll toast them brown cotton gloves in about 4 or 5 back windows. My Mechanix are finally falling apart where the cloth meets the leather on the side of a finger.

I always use the gold teflon, with the unger handle.

i dont shrink with a card no more i just snap shrink never no fingers or shrink marks works mint....

White card all day...who has time for a glove then a white card...Black card grips the film too much as well as the gold...too grippy!!! Ove glove only for hard stretches!!! Gloves are for Michael Jackson and OJ!!! No gloves for me cause I go YOGI BARE!!! Two heat guns no back window is ever safe... 15 minutes or less from start to finish including dot prep...lets'go!!!
