They are frameless and hinged, and have dot matrix around all edges, just worried that if I cover whole glass, that it won't stick around edges, or might peel later down the line when opening/closing the glass.
Yep, I'm new to this...

Hi, can someone advice how to deal with the rear windows on a BMW coupe?

clean the dot area well with a white scrub pad with rubbing alcohol, and tint over the dots by a cm or 2, it will be just fine. welcome to the board !!!!
Thanks!
Next dumb questions, Where to buy rubbing alcohol? Where to buy alcohol based foam window cleaner? I've heard that ammonia base will eventually eat film glue. Cheers again.
rubbing alcohol is sold everywhere here in the states. rubbing alcohol is also isopropyl alcohol
check out the big brain on 1peece.......
should I remove the window?
Looks tight.
Just tint past the dots - you dont have to remove them.
Have you actually looked at the window?
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
