About to open a Tint Shop in S. Florida Any Tips?

My advice is this be prepared to lose your azz. If you can make it 5 yrs here then you might... MIGHT survive. Welcome to my backyard. gl

Yea, I would hold off until you have WAY more skill.. I opened my shop after only tinting for six months and can tell ya, your going to run into a ton of cars that will kick your azz....And then your plotter will f#%$ up and the good tinter you hired will bail on you and you will be sitting there saying "I was making pretty good money at my friends shop with no responsibility, maybe I should have thought twice about trying to make the quick buck..?"

Na, just kidding dude! But I can tell ya that you need to be prepared to have several thousand in the bank to carry you through the slow times..
You should also realize alot of people in the business don't take kindly to someone with money that doesnt really know the industry trying to come in and make a fast buck....When they haven't paid there dues.. Not that I paid mine, but at least I didn't have money

i think promotion is key... getting your business out there via adversting, word of mouth, or whatever will help your business tremendously. good luck!!
