Tight 3rd brake light

have you ever reinstalled a 3rd brake light and it was so tight it put a gash in the film?

So another trick from the Tinters Skool of Hard Knocks or TSHK
is: when reinstalling the light, slide a paper towel, thin rag, or even a goat skin if you have it between the tint and the light and install as normal.

Dont ferget to remove the rag

I use the plastic or cardboard dealer plate

I'v never used anything .....I just try to be careful....and risk it.....

ive always done the paper towel thing... usually fold 2 up... i get paranoid

I use quality film that is durable

I make ultra thin tint tools out of the plastic ones , they work great on tight seals if you use the slip n slide method on roll ups they work great
