Emulating the Mercedes Gas Filled Look with a Tint

Custom Search

I have a 2005 mazda 3 GT sedan. I would like to emulate/replicate the "Blue" mercedes benz gas filled glass with a tint.

1)I have heard that the size of the glass makes a difference in the final effect of the tint. Hence, based on the car that I have, what you be the best tint to use?

2)Do coloured tints fade more in certain places in comparasion to the regular black tint?

Has anyone done this before? Did it meet your expectations? I am currently situated in Toronto - any recommendations for a good place to have this done? What should be the average cost of getting such a tint?

I greatly appreciate any input! Thanks in advance! beer.gif

I think the best match would be the 3M slate series....but they dont make it anymore.... dunno.gif

Try llumar....they may have what your looking for.

The mercedes blue factory tint is only on select AMG class'.....I like it ALOT..... Fbigeyes.gif

you can also look for llumar stealth50 but it is in the process of being discontinued so it may be hard to find. or you can try to get madico blue50.

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
