what is the most you have seen a dealer

we have a dealer here in town charging $1000. for tint

they are beeing sneeky though they have every chevy cobolt on the lot tinted and on the sticker it sez exterior apperance package $1000. and the only thing on the car is tint,no pinstriping,no spoiler just tint.

oh don't get excited they only want to pay a shop $100 a car thats why I don't do any dealers right now

Yeah, I heard Texas is whored right out for prices..never fails..I notice that the larger the city, the more expensive it is to live in that city and the prices are too cheap..places that cost 5X as much to live in charge 1/2 of what I do...no thanx ..want to make good money..move to a small area, work half as much , charge twice as much and have a life

Advertise out the front of the dealership. Park you car or truck there advertising $899 tint jobs. That should fix 'em.

Most dealers in the metroplex have hired tinters and do there own work

i have witnessed dealers tinting just the front doors on SUVs and posting an appearance package at 4-600 bucks and not telling the customer they only did the fronts ..passing off they tinted the whole vehicle. :ahole s

$695 for a honda civic coupe rear section. brake light cutout, light gaps and hairs at no additional charge. we redo them all week. it would actually be nice but the film they use has some crazy ass glue that takes forever to get of the backglass

our dealership is pretty cool to the customers only marking up to about $350-500$ of course they charge for this "exterior protection" it like a clearcoat wax but i've seen the guys put it on a car for about an hour and they are charging 600+, when getting a new car dont get ripped off with dat shiz mang...maybe cause we rent a stall right on the spot so they cant screw them to bad because they would walk back to use and find out how much to tint

The toyota dealership here has been getting their's tinted with some film called digifilm Looks like crap, my brother bought a new tacoma that had the d/p windows done and they tried to charge him $250 extra for it not gonna happen

Seems to me, dealers are charging what WE SHOULD be charging for tint. I mean really, what other skilled trade...oh nevermind.

Most supply houses around here are setting the dealers up and trying to find them tinters

1200-1500 hundred...ceramic is the highline.

The dealer will add that price into the price of the car.....people bitch about the bottom line price of the car...and the dealer says ....well we can take 600 off and give you the tint job for what we paid...600.....

They are so shady you give em a deal and they still bitch cuz it aint free and then they charge 600 bucks for a rush rush job that you charged 150 on. dealers can lick my olfa

I do a toyota dealership and that digifilm crap is coming back about 2-3 years old with glue failure .
