Full Version: radio reception problem on an accord
I only do flat glass so Im not up on all the car stuff but we had a call about the radio not picking up in a 2001 Honda accord. The owner bought the car tinted and thinks it is a metal film. Is this a problem with Hondas?
Check the antenna connection and the radio ground.... Not sure about the film causing it, doubtful though.....
AM or FM

If it is a metalized film, and it is a WEAKER FM station, ABSOLUTLY it could be the film.
If its the most popular FM station in town, and he/she can't pick it up or is having issues, then nope. If I remember correctly, those antennas plug in on the top pass side of the glass, check the connection there and mke sure its OK/plugged in
yep its the TINT!!!!
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
