Lexus GS350 Rear Screen

First one of these suckers I've had to deal with that had a screen that pops up after you put the car in park. How do I get the thing down so I can get at the brake light and remove that and tint the back glass?
Come on kids, give the old lady some help! Please

Tried that. I've looked back through the lexus tips and couldnt find anything on how to make it stay down. Nothing. I even looked for the owners manual, not there.

There has to be a button somewhere around that raises and lowers it


on the above link, there is a part that tells about the rear screen, and there is a little video link as well that shows how it works

Wow! That was simple! Found the little control panel to the left of the steering column/says push/ then a panel drops down and there is the button at the upper top left hand corner to turn the thing off!! EUREKA!! duhhhh...... Would have never thought to look for something like that! Thanks 237 You are allright, I dont care what they say about you!

have you noticed the rear view camera is attached to the brake light? any problems yet from anybody with shorting that sucker out, or the tint messing up the view?
