Keep at it, even the most experienced guys still have problems on glass they have tinted hundreds of times before with no probs.

I didn't have a grey hair in my head till I started tinting, now they're all grey

may the force be with you

Bob
tintec
thanks for the response guys, bottom isnt really my problem, its about half way up and about 2-3 inches in from sides i just keep getting these peanut pop ups when i heat and rub em out it leaves a dirty looking streak on the glass sweat.gif

I'v done 1000's of these cars...I know what your talkin about.

steel wool the backglass....#0000...scrub it real good until all the high and rough edges are off the defrosters.

I would WET shape it...dry shaping .... nono.gif ... if you do it dry ....you will battle the bleaders. tantrum.gif

Happy Tinting

tintec
i did steel wool it,i always dry shrink, wet shaping just soak it with j&j soap and water, under and over the film and h anchor it is this correct?? gasp.gif
TINTZEUS
yep...seal the bottom edge ....and chase that bubble with the heat gun. after doing that I would trim the film, and re-heat the bottom edge..then cut the final pattern......this will result in having no fingers after the film is installed..... thumb.gif

I feel your pain....thoes older benz can be a pain in the buttox.... inot.gif

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
