to me this car is harder than a bug
its not one to mark up to lose, but worth marking up for your extra time since you haven't done one
It is on my more difficult list. I personally would add about an hour more in labor charges
Good luck and hope it turns out well
i would charge a little more
everything except the 1/4 windows
The BG is a curvy basturd, and the doors need to be shrunk just like a bug, the thing that makes it harder than a bug IMO is its older and full of more dirt. 3000GT is the same vehicle as a Dodge Stealth if your familiar with the stealth
easy car..you will do great..
easy car..you will do great..
Door panels come off really easily to help the install. At least the doors are frame less, but if you get a finger that sucks up 10 years of dirt you'll be upset. The screws aren't even hidden.
1/4 windows need to be shrank. Turn it sideways and life is easy. Rear window is huge and curved, it has dots too. Or does it have lines? I can't recall.
its not the hardest car around but i charge more for it...just for the fact that i gotta get my heat gun out on every window...that der is a upcharge in my book...anyways.....
This car is a dinosour from 91. Must be a few still breathing out there. Mastering this car is most important for any tinters resume.
It helps to remove the door panels on this one and on the back window I remove all the trim around it on the inside before applying the film.
I love doing 3000gts. I have alot of experiance doing them cuz i own one, since 1992. I have tinted that car more time than than i would like to know. BTW they have lines on top of the B/G.
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
