Full Version: Old Squeegees

OSU Pike
As squeeges get old they get cracks and nicks and well grimy and dirty to a point of no return...Instead of tossing them in the trash or just using them for old back ups...I use them to wedge between some door panels when pulling gaskets...They are soft enough to not harm the interior and well they also help clean the door panel away form the glass...Allowing you to squeege out that bottom edge really good..

Peace

beer.gif Good tip there Pikester! I don't think I've ever tossed a squeeg,
lost plenty, though.

If I dug around enough, I could probably open a squegee booth at
the flea market! Flaugh.gif

i use old squeegees and empty olfa boxes for those. the empty olfa boxes along with a auto glass bone tool works really good for tricking rollups too. you know the ones that shift up and down but are activated by a push button instead of the actuator.

I do that, too! I also use the film roll end caps. thumb.gif

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
