Okay, door panels are off. Wow, 2 screws and pull up.
But HowTF do you get the gasket out?
Normally I wouldn't bother, but this is a rip and redo. He's a previous customer and during the past year 2 windows have peeled up and now that we're doing it I noticed today all four roll downs had a spot that wanted to start peeling.
So I need to get it down below both gaskets.
Do they not come out? Is it glued? Are they just really stuck and I'm being a sissy and just need to pull harder?
Seems like they want to rip before coming out. I can't seem to find an edge either.
Feel free to move this to the audi section, I just needed the general section for high traffic.

Fronts are out. Nothing a large screwdriver couldn't pry out.
But the backs are fighting me. I think they might win.

Eureka!!!
On the fronts, pry from the backside.
On the backs, pry from the front side!
Makes them come up much easier.

the gaskets on the back doors are joined to the side gaskets, you need to cut them, done a few 2006 models, hope this is one you mean

This was the previous model, but thanks for the heads up if I ever get a new one.
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
