I had an 02 Intrepid yesterday that was really extra dirty. The gasket channels around the roll ups were caked with dirt. The rubber was also starting to deteriorate, so when you wipe the sides, pieces of rubber were coming loose. Also the window regulators were worn out causing the glass to roll up off center, one side to the other so I got pissed and decided to try and pull the channel rubbers out, and it worked. The rubbers came right out like on the impala and grand prix. You do have to tape the metal, due to some adhesive residue, but this made the job clean and easy I ran out of spray silicone when reinstalling the channel gaskets, so I just used some tire wet, and they slid right back into the channels

also the regulators werent bad, the moldings being uneven and deteriorated caused them to shift.
when i first saw your post i thought you were talking about the hard intrepid.

I pull the panels on those.
The windows are always so tight that the film catches on the top when you roll it up and makes huge fingers.

when i first saw your post i thought you were talking about the hard intrepid.  i got an 01 to do today and damn it what is with people and having a half of a dog on the back deck lid.  oh well i got it clean and charged enough for once. lol so i guess i should go tint it. lol
