What are your favorite type of jobs?

So just like the title says, what is your favorite type of jobs. Mine for example is probably doing convertibles. That is when compared to the average fix it day to day jobs anyway. Over all though, I love full custom interiors.

I don't know about you guys, but I love seeing other people's work, as it inspires me, so here are a couple of mine.

Of course, the snotty answer is ANYTHING THAT PAYS!!!. To expound on that, I like customers that don't complain or whine or push, and that let you run with the project and do it the way it should be done. And will take care of the interior once you've delivered.

If it weren't for the customers and being overloaded, I enjoy the full custom interiors as well. I tend to be a bit on the wild side with what I put in them, so I gravitate towards the 50s Kustom cars. Also the LowRider style is cool. Today's equivalent is the DONKs, but they can get downright ugly most of the time.

Doing these, though, requires a lot of time. Moreso than the customer really wants to pay for, or will stand for paying for. So you end up getting cheated on the biggies. And in the meantime, all the little jobs are put on hold, so then you have angry customers that aren't going to make you a ton of money in the long run. They can just hurt your reputation.

From the standpoint of what makes money for the shop, it's the truck seat repairs. Most seats can come apart in 15 minutes, do a bolster repair, a little foam, and make a couple hundred bucks. Two or three of those a day, and the rent isn't a problem.

I agree the quicky repairs definitely pay better, per job and time spent than the big restyle jobs......
