G6 coupe front windows

Ok guys, have a G6 coupe in here....

The front roll downs roll down about a 1/2" inch when open and when you close the door they roll up all the way. How did you work around this???

Fuse? Where is it?

Right on in there, push that latch a couple of times (either up or down, I don't remember) and it should "trick the window up. And don't shut that door till you've reset it! beer.gif

lol2.gif have you tinted a newer mustang icon_confused.gif same way trick the LATCH rollin.gif

use a bone stick and push the door trigger in. it usually takes 2 clicks to trigger the window.

that's a tip i learned here on tintdude.com. i can't claim it as 'my' tip. unfortunately though, i don't remember who's tip it was.

I've been using that trick for years. Started doing that on the old K series Blazers years back. Good Tip!!

Not my favorite install there, not terribly hard, I just dont like doing them!

It worked like a charm! Car came out sweet. Suntek HP-50 on the front, HP-5 on the rears. Heres a roll down pick, you guys saved my azz!!!!! evilgrin.gif



I managed the b/g without pullng the deck, but I left alot more water than Id like under the film... poking_someone_in_the_eye.gif

shouldn't need to pull the decks on the G-6 or the G-5.....

sweat.gif Thanks tho for your help!!! Yea I used my bulldozer...... is it just me or is that thing flimsy as all hell?? Everytime I use it it just bends. Im no gay.gif tinter. nono.gif

try getting a flatglass bulldozer, the ribbs on it are longer and alot less flexible IMO
