I hung this film for the second time this morning. Oh man it lays like butter. I reeeaaaly like this film
What, no pics
I will work on that next time
I definitely would have taken them, but the exterior was the rooftop of a hospital. They wanted it for glare reduction and it cam out marvelous. The film seriously installs soooooo smoothly. And ya, its sOOper shiny on the exterior but its da' bomb for ultimate glare reduction
what did you lay? cold steel?
(TINT @ Aug 10 2007, 06:57 PM) [*]532873[/*] what did you lay? cold steel? Optitune 5% I did hang some exterior CS20 and that lays like butter too.
its the shiznit.
heres a pic of optitune 5%

Haven't tried their flat films, I've messed with the auto stuff, it's okay....
(Shady Sherlock @ Aug 17 2007, 05:00 PM) [*]535698[/*] Haven't tried their flat films, I've messed with the auto stuff, it's okay.... its the shiznit. i just dont like they're 40" rolls for back windows, leave's me way to many pieces for visors which i dont like doing mang
Have they fixed the release liner problem? It was so sticky that I couldn't drop roll the film at all.
No, it comes off way easier than PS but I don't think it could be snapped like CDF. Not exactly sure though, because I didn't want to get creases in the large panels I installed so I had my assistant pull backing.
I have to lay more Optitune 15% today.
Nope, liner doesn't come off the easiest. But I just put a stick in there. (Grn00Audi @ Aug 17 2007, 10:43 AM) [*]535627[/*] heres a pic of optitune 5% ![]() I never installed 5% refective on flat glass but that picture would sell me personally. My commercial area is big with NR5s and 4 mill black out. Hanita has a winner. (Grn00Audi @ Aug 17 2007, 10:43 AM) [*]535627[/*] heres a pic of optitune 5% ![]() Nice Looks about 40-45sq ft? Did they warranty it?
the glass has a light bronze tint to it so the opt5% is a little more reflective or shiny on clear
glass and for the warranty it should be covered the glass is 41 sqft but not sure i helped my buddy with the install
Second that!!!
That
(Aphotics @ Sep 14 2007, 08:47 PM) [*]544676[/*] Second that!!! whats' your location? (Aphotics @ Sep 14 2007, 08:47 PM) [*]544676[/*] Second that!!! Mark's a good guy
