ok on most old trucks if you'll notice the in side rubber is got a little bit of a grove around it makeing it bigger on the in side then the out on these I'll cut the film on the inside then take it to the table and smooth the edges over. then I"ll do a reverse roll reverse roll method and make sure you remove all crud be for you apply
I just never got the hang of the reverse roll. I fold my film

I like doing the reverse roll onto the BG..
Some, I will double reverse roll toward center and split the liner. Others I will reverse roll onto the rear deck and Frankenstein onto glass....Depends on the car.. Lately I've found myself doing it the 3rd way a lot. also because if I roll it too tight, a lot of the water gets squished out, so its a little tacky going on the window. If i roll it onto the back deck I can respray it real quick to get some more water on it and it goes on smoother.
just wet the glass good before you unroll it i reverse roll every rear
