I wonder if they felted the rubbers....
i think it's fugly
I dont like the front bumper thats for sure...with that big dip in there. Looke like pita.
they look as easy as the previous. easy money. has anyone else noticed the newer they get they less felt they have?
Looking like a BMW
not bad...but I still wouldnt buy one
All I care about if if they've smartened up and got rid of the plastic gaskets.
looks like all gravy!!

They could probably sue for that obvious rip off of the rear R/D's and quarters.
the coupe looks good!
the front looks cheap, and the rear looks like its missing something, sort of like a low budget 5 series beamer
ya know, it kinda looks like a Kia from the back

I tinted 8 of them today for a dealership. The gaskets are Felted now. The 1/4 fixed are easy. Very simple car to tint.
I saw them at the honda dealer yeasterday,I have never been a big honda fan but they look pretty bad azz

I got one coming in later in the week, any special instructions or is it all good?
About damn time they felted the 1/4 windows !

Click to view attachment Click to view attachment the plastic piece to hold the rear-view wires is attached with 2 sided tape easy enough to do the strip in 2 pieces though
The only thing i didn really care for on this car is that honda went back to a molded in rear brakelight at the bottom of the window just like the civic. I had no problem getting back behind the brakelight with my bull dozer.
I tinted one yesterday. Like the guys said before me the door panel gaskets now have felt on them and they are soft and plyable so you can tuck and untuck them very easily. Nice welcomed change. too bad they had to go and fvck up the 1/4 window again. QUOTE (Mdog @ Sep 25 2007, 01:35 PM) [*]548103[/*] too bad they had to go and fvck up the 1/4 window again.
I see that you cheated that 1/4 glass, I did one the other day all the way back with no problem.
QUOTE (SIR TINTSALOT @ Sep 26 2007, 11:57 PM) [*]548725[/*] I see that you cheated that 1/4 glass, I did one the other day all the way back with no problem. yeah you can push the tint in past that rubber without having to remove the glass like in the last model, but here is a question I had....I just did my first 08 this morning and noticed a hole, about the size of a pin head, on the rear deck right behind the head-rest on the drivers side....any idea what that is? I'm so paranoid about electronics in these cars now....I made sure it got covered..but still would like to know for future reference.
eh. I still pull the 1/4 out. It's only an extra 15 seconds since the door panels are off anyway. Still only takes MAYBE 10 minutes total extra time to pull/re-install all the panels and 1/4'ers.
I would NEVER cut so much as a sliver of rubber off the gaskets of someone's 2008 car - even if it was a Kia. That's their car and people take that kind of thing serious, they don't care what you explain to them, all they focus on is the cut rubber (yeah yeah yeah "I can do it and they'll never know".) Didn't notice any pinhole in the rear deck. It's probably a ventilation hole for the all the CPU's controlling the car, I'd squirt some water down in there and find out. Still an easy hour car though, they haven't made a hard Accord since the '94 models came out. QUOTE (CleanCutter @ Nov 1 2007, 01:20 PM) [*]558599[/*] eh. I still pull the 1/4 out. Why they have a mic in back QUOTE (tintman237 @ Aug 21 2007, 06:26 AM) [*]536681[/*] Thats what i was thinkin!!!!!!
I thought it looked like a large version of a Hyundai Sonata.
Didn't say you DID cut it OneSlickTinter, but it's pretty normal for most who don't disassemble to trim rubber though. Glad to hear that the rubbers are loose enough to slide film under them, I'll take a closer look at them the next one that comes in.
I did a 2 door today-kinda tough getting behind the light and the dots acted a fool-so i glued them!
