We are proud to carry the new Solargard Ultra-Performance 75% Visible Light Transmittance film which is ultra-light in shading with a Total Solar Energy Rejection of 40%.

This film is perfect for the front doors in California since the law states that it allows tinting of the front doors provided the film and glass combined allows a Visible Light Transmittance of 70% or greater. The problem is most front doors are already around 80% VLT so only a clear film can be legally installed. If you have a medical prescription letter from a skin or eye doctor, you can legally have up to 35% VLT but you are not allowed to drive the car at night.

With that said, the new Solargard film is technically not legal but I can guarantee that you will never get cited for having this ultra light shade of film on your front door windows, or I will refund your money. This way you, the driver, can have protection from the sun's harmful UV rays and reduce at least 40% of the heat on the side of your face.
