I like to keep that piece of paper oiled. WD-40 will work. I always try to keep my blades sharp edge down on that piece of oiled paper.
There is nothing worse than a dull blade.

Full Version: OLFA BLADES
A pack of Olfa blades comes with a piece of oiled paper with it. With heat and moisture that piece of paper will dry out and dull the blades.

Dayum that's an old oiler! I go through blades too fast to have it dry out, good tip though
just to add....when ya get down to the last 20 or so...they tend to want to flip on ya. I stuff some paper towel or something down beside them to keep the sharp side against the oiled paper.

Ok That's why some of my blades go dull.
does any one use nt blades and do they fit the red dot knife better than a olfa blade as far as snapping the blade
