New Civic Type R

Hi guys. Got one oif the new CTR's in soon.

Havent done one of these yet but I know they have what looks like 2 BG's.

Is this something to worry about? How difficult is the rest of the car to tint?

I haven't seen one up close, but it's an awesome lookin' little car....

Doesn't "look" all that bad. Just go into with a positve attitude. As for the second window maybe it's like that Mazda from the 90's,think it's the mx3, Not a honda fan but it looks cool!

Watch out for that "2nd" BG stay away from it! It's Plexi!
All the rest is very simple and a 1h car, no dot matrix!!
remember the bottom BG is plexi!!

Hi Guys, I have to do one of these. Does anyone know how to pop off the door panels? The front corners are too hard to tuck in without panel removal.

There is a little trim that clips out of the door release - then 2 screws. Also there is a rubber piece that lifts out (from a little pocket in the middle of the door), unclip the trim near the wing mirror.

The door panels is then on poppers - be careful, they are tight!

Use a hard card and palstic wedges to give enough room to slide the trim tool in place, place a hard card behind the tool to lever against.

Very long windows as well.

yah the "second" back glass is plexi, similar to the honda crx from the early 90's. dont even attempt to tint it. it will be more of a hassle than its worth

what do people do about the rear plexi then, can it be vinyled or anything? got one to do next week

You can print some contravision black but I just leave them. I have done about 25 for the Honda dealer with no issues.
