Full Version: Exterior Safety Film

FilmBlazer
I have brought this topic up in threads before, but things change in this industry every day.

I am looking for an exterior 4 mil safety film that has been tested to comply with IBC requirements by an accredited IAS testing facility.

Does anyone have a product that meets this criteria?
TINT
4mil is not that strong to comply in the first place man. dunno.gif
FilmBlazer
Indeed, 4 mil is the requirement for tempered glass. There must be a manufacturer that has taken the effort to make and test a film..

I am not sure, but I think that hanita has been leading the way on exterior in general. Look there would be my geuss, its also possible that the film is unavailable in the US which means you will have a very hard time getting it

Xterior safety...What the mechanic? How it will work? dunno.gif
My opinion - and from practice - there MUST BE TWO FILMS, inside and outside. That the best....
Look at this test, do You think there is ONLY one film dunno.gif

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
