use the window snapping method to roll or curle ur edge lightly on the top and bottom it will allow the tint to fit the window like a glove and prevent any unwanted fingers works very well and it seems to make it stick better on the dot matrix....

i tried it just a lil bit ago. didnt work for me. every where i snapped...i had to catch it with some heat after the install.
I've been telling people to do this for a while.
Personally, I just wet the bottom and top and force up a few extra fingers. QUOTE (darkdan @ Oct 10 2007, 04:55 PM) [*]552871[/*] I've been telling people to do this for a while. A wet check just checks fit. Which if you dry shrank and smoothed it then it should fit. I'm talking about purposely forcing up extra fingers to shrink them.

I'm talking about purposely forcing up extra fingers to shrink them. if you ever snap shrunk its totally different from a wet check when you snap it adds a curve to the tint #1 and when you install it with a curve to the shrink it cling to the glass extra tight #2 so it is not a wet check get it got it good
wasn't this already covered a few months ago by mdog or someone, complete with video demonstration?

I'm well aware of what snap shrinking is, I've been doing it on side windows for well over a year and a half now.
