First post!
I have been a lurker, but decided to join up and get in the mix a bit sometimes. I did not see any post regarding a marketing thingie that I have going, so I thought I would share the info.

I do flat glass only, & S&S mostly. So this only applies to marketing S&S film.

I made contact with some insurance companies that offer discounts to their policy holders for having S&S installed. They were glad to work with me and help promote the product.
Basically, I created up a small flyer insert that would fit into their statement envelopes. They put in my flyer when mailing out their monthly statements.

They offer a discount to the homeowners, so thats on the ad.

The insurance company's feel that if it helps metigate any damage or value claims, then its worth it to them. That and it looks good for them to notify their customers of a product that can help them, and save them some money off their insurance premiums.

I keep them stocked with my flyer & thats all, regarding cost for advertising. In a sense they are indorsing me too!

I do take care of them to insure good relations, & to make sure I keep the deal going.

Do they require any test data, verification of performance, any credential that assures them that the film is properly installed? dunno.gif

In a word yes! I myself specialize in S&S applications. The installations are done correctly, & I have the test data for the films installed. I myself have done my own testing to show that I back my product & prove the abuse that it can take/absorb.

Hope this helps

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
