Transfer paper

What type of transfer paper do you use, a High tack, med tack or a low tack?

I have a ton of low tack that I bought for doing tint graphics, and it works great. I have used it on some avery vinyl as well, and it worked fine. I just made a sign and used oracal vinyl, and it sucked! I had to use a heat gun just to get the vinyl to seperate from the backing paper.

Is it the oracal brand vinyl, or am I just using a sissy tranfer paper for vinyl?

i use high tack on vinyl and low tack on tint.

i use low tack for everything.

What brand of vinyl do you use? I am wondering if Oracal just has a more aggresive adhesive then Avery.

Arlon's Calon vinyl is what i use. and i use tranferrite Ultra grade H transfer tape.

I use high tack on all of my vinyl. I use Oracal, ShineRite, and FDC vinyls. I have never had a problem with the high tack transfer tapes.
