security film rolling of the glass

relatively new to 8 mil , trying to pre cut before installing, but the film would not stay on the glass, so i can't cut it hmmmmmmm.gif what do i do, 8 mil pros grouphug.gif

As a tip of the week, someone posted and idea using old yellow turbo squeegee handles, it may work better than what your trying.

I don't know of any real good way to do it other than to maybe lay the pieces liner side down on something flat then put maybe a film box on them for awhile to straighten out a bit.
Or sometimes I fold in half for awhile the opposite way it's curling put something heavy on it.
In that case I go thro and cut most of the job laying the pieces that way and by the time I hang the 1st piece it's not as bad.

use a table and the ceramic cutter for security film .... or cut it on the pull out of the box with the box cutter both tools are on www.44tools.com i do it both ways beer.gif
