Advertising in the mall this year. Any one tried this?

This year we are going to tint and install PPF on a MB and stick it in the mall for the busy shopping season. We'll be adding some reading info on the products and of course our name and number. Also for a few of the days that I can get away from the shop I'll be with the car to answer questions and give info about us as well as the products. The MB dealership is going to pay 2/3 of the parking spot in the mall (we're going to put there dealership name on the side of the car) and we'll pay the rest plus do the tint and PPF for free.

What do you think of the idea?

I'd add somewhere in your litature, you sell gift cards/certificates tis the holiday season afterall

I was on the Gold Coast (Australia) a couple of years ago in a shopping cnt under cover parking area there was a guy tinting cars in a porta booth right next to the entrence

Just inside the door was a small display and a young lady taking enquiries

That is probably your answer on how well it went right there. It went dead with no results would be my guess.

I'm a slow learner. Did 2 mall shows for solar & security film. No sales, just spent the day checking out milf's & jailbait.

PPF in a showroom. Once I get my shop up and running and I would like to try doing a few PPF installs in showrooms of dealerships. Maybe on a saturday, rope off a section and let people watch. Maybe give them something to watch rather than TV and mags and sell my services a bit. Then refer them to the salesperosn for thier vehicle and let them ujpsell it the rest of the way.

Still working out the idea...

Malls kinda lame though. Lotta people traffic maybe but malls around here are full of mall walkers and teens that just cause trouble.
