What film are you talking about? I've seen adheisive smears from Armor Coat installations. I have heard that they will dissapear over the curing time. I can't say positive on that though.

Only Armor Coat. I got tired of explaing to customers that the smuge's will dissapear within about 2 or three months, while praying silently to myself! EDIT: Just got a call(while typing this post) to bid two neighbors homes located on a golf course. I will bid the Huper product , see what they think of the price.........
Isn't armor coat the one you need distilled water?
(darkdan @ Nov 7 2007, 06:20 PM) [*]560598[/*] Isn't armor coat the one you need distilled water? Not positive if its required by them. I installed A.C. for a company back in the day & would get smears here and there. There was some kind of paperwork from A.C. that discussed the smears that was available to customers that said they would dissapear b over time. I just hated leaving jobs with smears. As for distilled water, I use it on every job. Tap here is very hard and full of ![]()
heavy grade sf needs to be squeegeed out more than once with a heavy duty squeegee handle and the new flat blue max about 1"big normal width after the squeegee hard card test it if you can still push water than squeegee it again

Are you wetting both the film and the glass?
(tallscott @ Nov 8 2007, 06:40 AM) [*]560876[/*] Are you wetting both the film and the glass? yes
I've used armorcoat alot and it did that often/ I had to use a wet solution, meaning not much soap and not move the film once it hit the glass. To my suprise it did clear up but security film takes about 90 days to dryout depending on temp and humidity.
Nice pic CE. I was gonna grab that off the J site
