Thats what I like to hear!
yep cake
Im new to this forum, so bare with me... You do not have to pull the seals. Theres plenty of free space for the film to slide into place.
cake walk
Bottom gaskets come out easy too.
Front doors I just removed that top push rivet on the side of the panel. Rear doors I took out both rivets and a 10mm bolt behind the door handle (cover just pulls right off if you pull on the back side). To get the rear panel back into place I had to loosen the rest of the push fashioners to wiggle it back into place. Yup, gaskets around the side come out just like an Ion. Nice! If I can do this car in 2.5 hours it shouldn't take anyone else more than 45 minutes.
do yall pull the whole surrounding seal out with the lower gasket? thats what i did on the last one. made it a lot easier, and looks better than trying to cut it short and stick as much as you can be hind. this why you cant see where the tint ends. its real easy and only takes a few extra seconds. makes for a better product in the end imo.
did one about a week ago, very easy, i didnt have to pull anything off and it came out great
I have one of these tomorrow. Just how exactly do you pull the rubber seals? What do I have to unscrew etc? If these are anything like the Equinox, they MUST be pulled.
You don't have to remove any screws to remove rubber gaskets. Just roll the windows down and yank the gaskets out. there is also no need to remove gasket at bottom of window. Film slides right past it. just fluch sides well, bottom load doors, and you'll have a very easy install.

Are we talking about pulling the gaskets on the sides of the front windows, rear windows, or the small rear windows? I am doing one of these sunday. The bottom gaskets come right out. The rear door gasket goes all the way across the door and even under the little corner window.... Did my wifes car the other night. Easy Car.
